Coffee & Friends Pop up Card
Hi everyone! I am loving the new Scrappy Tails release. It's all about chocolate and coffee, two things that define me as a person haha! ;)
I love the new "A7 Coffee Mug pop up die set". I decided to put it to work today combining it with the new "A7 Coffee Mug Valentine Add-On" die set, and the "Coffee Love" 6x8 stamp set and coordinating dies.

To make the card, start by die cutting the coffee mug base elements. I die cut the mug and the base (saucer) from patterned paper, the handle from black card stock and the little doily (this one is from the Valentine Add-On set) from white card stock.
To learn how to construct the mug, check out Sabrina's video tutorial HERE.
I used strong double-sided tape to assemble my pop up card.

Once assembled, I cut a strip from patterned paper (the same patterns I used for the saucer) and adhered to the bottom part of the mug.
I like the masculine colors of this mug, I think this would be a great card to give to a male friend for Valentine's Day!

Next, it is time to decorate the mug! for my coffee topper, I used the whipped cream die from the original A7 mug die set, along with the stirrer, and the little heart from the Valentine Add-On.
To finish off the card, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the "Coffee Love" 6x8 stamp set on black card stock. I die cut it using the coordinating die and adhered it to the center of my mug!

Now you have a super fun interactive pop up card that fits in A7 envelope!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I Hope you have an amazing day!

Hi Sabrina, I’ve been going through all of your collections.
I purchased what looks like your mug add on and neglected to get the initial mug workings. In watching your demos on line you say you would be adding on for Christmas!?!
Would you possibly have any pop up mugs to go with my add on??
Here is to hoping you had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
Lots of love,
Shannon May
