Combining Water Color Mediums To Create Unique Backgrounds
Hello friends! Joy here, popping in real fast to share a card for Scrappy Tails Crafts featuring the beautiful, Oopsy Daisy stamp set. I love this stamp set as it perfect for many occasions which is perfect for me because I like things that I can use multiple times. Oopsy Daisy features 9 images and 7 sentiments!
This is a pretty simple card, but it was fun mixing the mediums to create it. I used Distress inks and Karin Brushmarker Pros to blend the background onto watercolor cardstock. I chose some vibrant pinks and purple colors. The floral image from Oopsy Daisy is stamped with Memento ink and colored with easy Copic blends. I am loving wide mats so I cut the water color panel down to really frame up the daisy image. I added just a few iridescent sequins for a little bling and called it a day!
