Pink Orchids Card
Hello again, friends!! I have a card to share with you today for Scrappy Tails Crafts featuring the new Layered Orchid Die Set!!
I began by die-cutting all of the components of the Layered Orchid Die Set from light purple, plum, white and two colors of green card stock. I added some color to the center die-cuts with Copic markers, then paper pieced and adhered them all together.
For the background, I blended Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol smooth card stock with the Aztec Stencil, going from the darkest color in the center to the lightest color towards the edges.
I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of plum cardstock, then an A2 white, top-folding card base.
The sentiment is from the Tropical Birds 6x8 Stamp Set. I white heat embossed it onto the same plum card stock and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive, and this card was complete!
