Shabby Chic Valentine Card

Hello my paper buddies!  I have a cute stamped Valentine card that I created for Scrappy Tails today. As always, my card features lots of layers and today I even practiced my coloring to color in the cute bear and balloons from the new  "Sweet Bear" 4x6 stamp set! 

This card was quite labor intensive, I fussy cut all of the balloons and the bear out.  The sentiment was embossed, and as you can see, I did a whole lot of die cutting!

I decided to emboss and glitter the hearts to add some sparkle. The glitter I used looks a lot like sugar, I love how it came out! The card was further embellished with buttons, ribbon, twine, a doily and a paper rose from my stash. I also made sure to include different patter papers to add interest to my card.

To die cut my sentiment, I used a decorative shape from the A7 pop up box card die set. I gave the sentiment a cute touch with a pink paper clip. Below the sentiment, I added a "love" arrow, which was die cut from the new "Assorted Hearts" die set. I love that this arrow includes a shadow die to help it pop!
