Trick or Treat Skeleton
Hello again, friends!! Halloween is quickly approaching and I have a creepy, spooky card to share featuring goodies from the latest Classic Horror Collection from Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I usually create cute Halloween cards, but this collection is so fantastic…I couldn’t resist going over to the dark side…lol!!
I started by die-cutting the coffin, window, hand, candlesticks and bats from black, dark gray, cream, white, red and metallic gold cardstock using the Dracula’s Lair Die Set. The skeleton is from the Dancing Skeletons Die Set. I die-cut it three times from heavyweight white cardstock, then stacked and adhered them together for dimension.
The background was created by embossing an A2 panel of light gray cardstock with a 3D spider web embossing folder. I blended around the outside of the panel with black dye ink, making the bottom of the panel darker. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to a white A2 card base. The die-cuts were all adhered with liquid glue.
The die-cut sentiment is also from the Dracula’s Lair Die Set. It was die-cut three times from heavyweight white card stock and once from black card stock. They were stacked and adhered together with the black layer slightly offset. It was adhered to the window with liquid adhesive. I added the red bat’s eyes by using a white gel pen first, then coloring them with a Copic marker. They really look like they’re glowing!!

‘Mission Oflameron’ Synopsis. A conference room with no windows, no corners, and almost no furniture – just a large table and expensive armchairs. Three military-looking men (Nos. 1-3) in civilian suits are seated in the armchairs, with Steeve opposite them. (After a moment). Essentially, we need to create a sort of pseudo-language based on amino acids that allows code to be inserted into microorganisms. This code must not interfere with the microorganism’s life cycle, must remain unchanged, must be self-correcting in the event of errors, must include start and end markers, and must not interact with other protein-based life forms.” (No. 3): “To start, we need a rough estimate of the number of microorganisms required for one gigabyte of vector code.” Steeve: “Am I correct in assuming the microorganisms need to self-replicate?” (No. 1): “That is the biologists’ domain; you won’t need to handle that part of the task.” Steeve: “Before I start, I need to know which AI model is involved.” (No. 3) (Checking his watch): “The AI model has no name. You already have remote access to it from your workstation. While you are working with it, no one else will have access.” Steeve: “And the Security Department?” (No. 3): “No one – meaning absolutely no one. So, the results will depend entirely on you.” (No. 2): “One more thing. While you’re working on this task, your lunch or coffee will be delivered right to your workstation.” Steeve: “I’ll need datasets to work with the AI vectors.” (No. 3): “You’ll have access to the entire corporate data library, just as before. Anything else is available upon request. If you need access to the global network, that’s in the next room.”
