This is our high quality, 5 layer stencil set called “Good Fortune”. This stencil set coordinates with our March 2026 collection by the same name: “Good Fortune”. And is designed to be used to color in the two Koi Fish and the four Lili pads from the “Good Fortune Stamp Set” (sold separately). The stencil set includes the same 4 lilli pads and the same two large koi fish that are the perfect match to the stamped images.

The koi fish are very good sized with a lot of great outline details. They are very lifelike Koi Fish. This matching 5 Layer stencil set here will enable you to masterfully color in these amazing koi fish. Each stencil layer is clearly marked at the bottom as layer 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and each layer is very easy to line up to your stamped outline image. You now just use your favorite inks and sponges and get to work coloring in your koi fish layer for layer. You can color multiple koi in at the same time or you can go one image at a time. Stamp your images as close together as you like to preserve precious expensive stenciling cardstock and just turn your stencils and move them around as you color your images in. Continue switching out your colors, lining up your images, layer for layer until you finish with layer 5. You can always skip a layer if you choose to keep a section of your koi fish the same as the color of your cardstock. The detail in these stencils right down to their patterns and fins is incredible and you will be in awe when you remove each layer to reveal the beauty of your koi.

After you have completed the stenciling of your koi fish, you can either scissor- cut out your koi fish or use the “Good Fortune Coordinating Metal Craft Die” (sold separately) to cleanly cut out your images. 

The Koi Fish are the “stars of this new collection”.  You will find yourself looking up color combinations for koi fish all over the internet, because they are so much fun to color in and create, especially with this matching 5 layer stencil set here and because these beautiful koi fish really do come in so many beautiful and bright colors.

Directions for stencil use:

1. Gently remove the stencils from their packaging
2. Apply your favorite ink/ color/ medium/ paste to the surface of the stencils. Layer the stencils if desired for intricate background designs. Consider using distress or oxide ink products for additional cool stencil effects.
3. Stencil your image on desired paper or cardstock
4. Clean stencil with baby wipe or stamp shammy
5. Replace stencil back on the backer sheet to store for future use
6. Color or embellish your images
