It’s our favorite time of the year - time to make Christmas, Winter & Holiday cards for friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, church members, teachers in short …. All the important people in our lives. It’s also time to capture those beautiful family moments with gorgeous scrapbook page layouts and to decorate our homes for the festive season.

This Metal Craft Die Here is: “Triple Smokey Men”.The die set includes the following images: three German Smokey men replicas, each standing about 4 inches tall and dressed up German style. We have one Santa, one Bavarian (complete with lederhosen, Wanderhut (hat to go walking in the woods!), Bretzels and Beersteins / basically quintessential German (ha ha!) and last but not least our German nutcracker styled Smokey men! These are not nutcrackers btw- outside of Germany these highly collectible wooden figurines are not as well known as their nutcracker counterparts, but within Germany they have a very loyal following of enthusiastic collectors of Smokey Men! Basically they have hollow bodies, that hold a small cone shaped incense candle that you heat up - you then attach their upper bodies back down into their lower 1/2 of their bodies and the incense’s causes them to “smoke”. They actually have an old school pipe hanging out of their mouth and so it appears that they smoke. We have an avid collector of these Smokey men in our family - so Sabrina of course had to illustrate some matching dies. These guys are loads of fun to paper piece and the pieces are not super tiny since they are pretty substantial due cuts after all. They fit perfectly into our new Triple Easel Pop Up Card (sold separately), which launched during our Halloween collection. We highly recommend to check out the Triple Easel Pop up and also the matching gift box for it when buying any of our triple die sets from this new collection as they are all matching up to those dies.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
