We are always approached by our customers to create new and innovative A7 sized (5X7 inch) cover plates and/ or background dies. They are a great basis for your next A7 pop up book, A7 sized flat card project or to have as a fabulous textured background for our brand new Cathedral Pop Up Shadow Box Tunnel Card. Imagine this very detailed, ornate, wall paper like background at the very back of your tunnel card to have additional dimension and a “brocade” like texture that is sure to be the beginnings of an awesome cathedral card. This cover-plate is super ornate, extremely detailed and can definitely go beyond Halloween to many of your other non seasonal Projects as well. It’s a stash builder that you will seek out regularly. 

This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest Gothic Halloween collection, which released in August 2025 and is especially fun when used with all the ghostly furniture sets that are sold separately.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
