This “Nevermore Accessories” Metal Craft Die set coordinates with the “A7 Nevermore Cover Plate” metal craft die set to give you additional images to decorate your cards or A7 Pop up book shadow boxes. We are trying to make it easier for our customers to use their pop up books by providing enough additional images to go beyond a fabulous book/ card front panel and to take the design into the inside of your cards and books. Of course this set can also be used completely standalone as well.

Included in the “Nevermore Accessories” Metal Craft Die set, is a large sized ornate mirror frame, that is oval and measures well above 4.5 inches in height. This ornate frame also has a nested matching oval, which allows you to either just cut the frame with center omitted or if preferred, to glue an oval shaped image on top of your complete mirror image. Using a shiny silver card stock will work best to achieve the perfect “mirror look”. The idea of this frame is to replicate the look of an old, vintage mirror. This mirror is supposed to look like it came out of an old mansion. It is therefore intentionally not completely symmetrical, but rather “artsy” in its design. Included on the mirror’s right and left side are one small skull each. Again those skulls will be left and right sided and the matching skull layering dies will also have an intentional left and right side. The layering skulls are very cool as each of the two skulls has three individual layers. We recommend to cut the skulls out of complimentary colors- for example option 1: white/ cream/ beige or for option 2 try to use a light gray / medium gray/ dark gray for example. Experiment with your colors and cardstocks or use your favorite coloring mediums for a perfect blend of three layers. These skulls become quite dimensional and it shows the inner workings of the cranium. It looks old and distressed, but at the same time it is also very cool. You don’t have to layer up the skulls, but it sure adds some cool dimension to your mirror. Next, we included a large image of a raven, that is designed to be added to the bottom of the mirror. He looks like he is looking at himself in the mirror. His beak and his eye has some extra layering pieces for a really sharp looking bird. We are also Including a larger skull in this set, this skull also comes with the same three layers as the smaller skulls that go on the mirror. Also included is a vintage tall candle stick with its coordinating layering pieces. Even the flame of your candle has its own layering piece. The word “Nevermore” is also included along with its shadow die. There also also  two bird silhouettes included. Both birds sit on tree branches. They look especially cool tucked away in the corners of your cards or on top of your mirror.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
