Product Description:

The “Scenic Railroad Metal Craft Die” is an add-on die for the Train Station Tunnel Series. It is a good sized and very delicate/pretty add-on die set, which includes a very cool train riding through the mountain side and into the forest. There are two “wings” of tree lines at two different heights to create a woodsy scene and then the very cool train rides straight through the tree line. Up above the tree line is a moon with Santa’s reindeer sleigh flying across the sky. A tiny little village consisting of two miniature buildings and a mini church are also included to build out your train scene. The image of the Scenic Railroad fits perfectly inside the brick tunnel, but of course can be mixed or matched with any other tunnel style as well. We thought of it matching best with the train tunnel, as we had in mind that one would ride the “train” to go see Santa at the North Pole. The little train looks like a more modern (bullet style train) and there are cool layers right down to the tiniest little wheels on the train. The details are amazing. Use the glue tabs on the tree line die cuts to attach your panels into the tunnel or to attach them to your favorite trifold design as well. This die set also includes a very small dainty “let it snow” scripty sentiment along with its matching shadow layer.

Some paper piecing/ paper layering is required to create some extra interest and dimension on your die cuts. The main images would also look pretty as a focal point on a standard flat A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch) notecard sized card or be a substantial addition to adorn your A7 (5 x 7 inch) sized cards. The add-on set is a great way to create interest in your tunnel cards by creating lovely scenes and these images are also a great size to use in combination with last year’s trifold cards as well.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
