Product Description:
We are always approached by our customers to create new and innovative A7 sized (5X7 inch) pop up cards that are easy to assemble and fun to create with. We are excited to add this new Cathedral Pop Up Tunnel Shadow Box to our line up of interactive card making craft dies for you. The new tunnel pop up card creates a foldable and mailable shadow box card that is shaped like a cathedral tunnel that allows you to look inside and create beautiful indoor spooky mansion scenes, just in time for Halloween card-making season.
Please cut the main cathedral die three times from heavy weight card stock, use the overlay die to further decorate the front of your cathedral and the solid shaped die as your closing backer to your tunnel card. We included a small rectangular shaped side panel with two indicator (scorelines) on it, that will help you to glue your three panels together (using the included glue tabs), while keeping a nice spacing between each panel to create the perfect tunnel and to allow for detailed scene building within your tunnel shadow box. You can close the bottom of the tunnel card as well to create a small “trick or treat gift box”. Closing the bottom of your card will not allow you to fold the box flat anymore, but it will create two good sized pocket areas inside the tunnel box, big enough to hold a full sized candy or chocolate bar for your favorite Halloween trick or treaters.
In addition to the main cathedral die, the solid shadow for the cathedral, the detailed top layer, the rectangular spacer side wing die, you also receive a fabulous three candle hanging chandelier, a very regal - matching standing 5 candle candelabra, and a tattered curtain that can be hung on the inside of your mansion as a potential window decoration.
The cathedral base lends itself to other cards outside of the Halloween season as well. We think it would make for beautiful wedding cards with the cathedral in white or “renewed vows/ anniversary cards” (think gold or silver accents to celebrate a 50th or 25th anniversary etc).
The cathedral tunnel card could be the beginnings of a beautiful Baptism/ Christening or New Baby card as a well.
I think different colors can introduce different seasonal cards too. How beautiful could this cathedral tunnel be to celebrate Christmas and Winter (both indoor and outdoor scene cards)! We think the options are endless and there is so much potential with this new die set. We feel it will be used all the time in your craft room, due to its versatility and the amount of beautiful details. It is sure to become one of your favorite go to metal craft dies. We hope you will enjoy crafting with this die as much as we do.
This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest Gothic Halloween collection, which released in August 2025 and is especially fun when used with all the ghostly furniture sets that are sold separately.

- These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
