This die set is designed with our original A7 Trifold Pop Up Base Die in mind, which was released back in October 2024. If you already own that die, this is a beautiful addition to continue your trifold collection with Scrappy Tails.

Included are two wings (the right and the left of the trifold to be mixed and matched with your favorite back base!). This set includes a shorter lake scene, complete with little lili pads, a water Lilly, water ripples and even some rocks. Then for the other side of your card we have a slightly taller lake scene, this one Includes some water grasses and more tiny rock formations and bigger lili pads. At the top of this bigger lake scene sits a very cool bridge that spans the full 5 inches across. It’s a substantial bridge and would look very cool with any of our new couples walking across it.

Of course the lake scenes also needs some swans, so our set includes both a left facing and a right facing swan, which will be paper-pieced right down to their black faces and orange beaks. The scenes are very tranquil and romantic.

This set is sure to become one of your favorite Trifold add on sets, since it creates so much dimension and detail and gives you different shape options to kind of breakup the usually very rectangular shaped cards. We designed this set to primarily work with our English Garden Wedding collection to provide layers for your scene cards to create beautifully manicured gardens and parks complete with lakes and bridges. Layer this swan lake scene with the gazebo or maybe with one of our beautiful couples to create a lovely scene. Our favorite combination for the swan lake is the use of the “A7 Willow Tree Cover Plate” (that set is sold separately) for the back middle of the card. 

This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest English Garden Wedding collections, which released in July 2025.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
