Product Description:

This die set is designed with our original A7 Trifold Pop Up Base Die in mind, which was released back in October 2024. If you already own that die, this is a beautiful addition to continue your trifold collection with Scrappy Tails. This is a very large die set with many elements on not one but two die sheets. This trifold introduces you to an elegant rectangular trifold card shape. It is a full 5x7 sized backer (the largest we have made to date). The side wings are tall rectangles that each only measure 2.5 inches in width, but are the full 7 inches high. This is incredibly elegant, because this trifold closes 1/2 way in the front - like a gatefold card. The right winged rectangle meets the left wing rectangle and together they are the full 5 inches wide. Please note : This is not just for weddings and not just for invitations - there are so many beautiful uses for this trifold add-on beyond wedding.

This card includes an amazingly ornate inlay die for your side wings. The inlay depicts beautiful flowers and branches that cut away and you are left with the “negative”, or you can cut the inlay from a separate paper and glue it on top of your solid - in which case you get the “positive” image. So basically two different looks depending on if you inlay and cut it out of the main rectangle or if you chose to glue on top. The ornate piece does come with the matching solid rectangle, so you can easily and cleanly close the wings out. Consider to use a beautiful velum or Acetate to back your lacey side wings, which will make those side wings more transparent and provide a sneak peak into the inside center of your trifold. These lacey gatefold designs are every brides dream invitations right now. They are elegant wings, but they are still simplistic enough that you can add a photo of the couple or even the wedding day logistics on the center backer-card.  

Also included in this set are two beautifully designed sentiments that read “Happy Wedding Day” and “Best wishes for the new Mr & Mrs”. These sentiments are sized to fit one of three different shapes that are also included - a circle, an oval and a fancy corner rectangle. Each of these shapes also has a Slightly smaller nesting shape, so you can really offset your sentiments in these shapes. The idea is that these gatefold cards look very pretty held together with a Belly Band, and these shapes would look quite beautiful adorning the center of a belly band. There are also 6 total branch/ sprig dies Included - two each of three different styles (again - these branches would look beautiful offsetting the sides of your sentiment on the belly band.) Sabrina has really thought of every detail.

The backer card has a beautiful added frame that includes 4 stunning hearts, one in each corner of the frame. There is also a pretty solid shape with a dotted line that you can cut out.

This Metal Craft Die can be combined with any other products/ images from our latest English Garden Wedding collections, which released in July 2025.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
