Product Description:

The Waterfall Koi Pond Side-Wings Trifold Add-On Metal Craft Die goes along with the Waterfall Koi Pond Trifold Metal Craft Die. The side wings are designed to be attached to the bottom back of the main Waterfall Koi Pond to complete the right and left wing of the trifold scene card. The main card base is the central middle piece with the tall waterfall and the two side wings are substantially shorter and are attached in the order of how the card will be opened with the first wing being the shortest wing and the second opened side being the middle sized wing. The detail of this completed trifold is absolutely incredible and just stunning and something that looks like it took you weeks to complete, but the magic of layering dies makes that work so much easier for you. By the time that you finish this card, you will have a very hard time to give it away. This die set is very large and includes so many beautiful details, including the beautiful little Japanese inspired temple with all its intricate levels that looks stunning when placed on one of the wings, in order to create depth from the front of the card to the back of the scene, where the tall waterfall is located. In addition to the beautiful temple, you also get two water basins and two hill sides at differing heights along with grassy knolls, plants and grasses of different types, sizes and textures. The card turns out so interesting in the end, because there are so many different elements included in this card and the eye of the recipient will be exploring every little detail that you created. Consider to use alcohol markers to shade areas on your die cuts for additional depth, dimension and texture and to make your scene even more realistic to the eye. Or use a shimmer pen to create highlights created by sunshine rays or a glowing moon.

Please note: the Mini Koi Fish swimming in the image are not included in this die set here. That die is sold separately under the name “Mini Koi Fish Metal Craft Die”. Other dies that would look fabulous here would be the “Aquatic Plants” die set, which would give you many more image choices that would go well with this waterfall to include even more details. Our “Good Fortune” stamp set would also provide some lovely sentiment choices to finish off this lovely trifold- and don’t forget to sign your project, because every masterpiece needs the signature of the artist, who created it- and these are truly art pieces.

Directions for metal craft die use:

  1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
  2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
  3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
  4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
