Product Description:

The “A7 Snowfall Cover Plate Metal Craft Die” is an add-on die for the Snowflake Tunnel. This cover plate is a fabulous supersized background die and is also a super intricate Cover Plate with a cool snowfall pattern that has more intense snowfall at the top phasing out to less intense snowfall towards the bottom of the plate. The cover plate is a full 5x7 inch size and is definitely a stash builder die that you will gravitate to frequently. It can be used as confetti for birthdays. Use the cover plate in full (for example in the background of your tunnel, your cards, or your other paper projects and/ or in the front of our ever popular and intricate A7 Pop Up Books. Consider to cut the panel from blue, gray, silver, off white etc and then use a true white/white layer behind it to get the full snow effect. Of course you can further detail it up with some clouds, suns, moons etc.

We, here at Scrappy Tails love A7 sized card making and we love the large sized A7 cover plates for quick and stunning card front panel designs - those plates basically do all the work for you. The add-on set is a great way to create interest in your tunnel cards by creating lovely scenes and these images are also a great size to use in combination with last year’s trifold cards as well.

We will be sharing technique tutorials and many beautiful interactive pop up cards, tunnel shadow box cards and other gorgeous 3D card design samples on our YouTube channel and our design team is also ready to create some fabulous tunnel pop ups, trifolds and other interactive cards this year- so please keep your eye open on our social media and on our “Scrappy Tails Crafters” Facebook fan page.

Directions for metal craft die use:

  1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
  2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
  3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
  4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
  5. Share your beautiful projects with us at #scrappytailscrafts
