The “Central Park Skaters Metal Craft Die” is an add-on die for the Snowflake Tunnel Series. It is a good sized die, that is very delicate and pretty, which includes a most adorable city park / skating lake scene that is reminiscent of NYC’s central Park and would look great in front of the NYC Skyline Add- On Metal Craft die as the backdrop. The Central Park Skaters have a small lake with a frozen ice circle to depict the lake that our skaters can be attached to. The set includes an adorable total of 4 skaters. A boy and a girl that can be arranged in the tunnel card to look like they are holding hands. Then there is a girl (child sge) turning a pirouette) and a boy, who fell on his bottom while skating. He is basically sitting on the ice. All of the 4 characters have detailed clothing and skates for some beautiful paper piecing. Also included is a “side wing”, that has glue tabs on the left and right to allow our crafters to attach these side panels easily inside the tunnel or on the sides of last year’s trifold card designs. The skyline has glue tabs on the sides, which allows our paper crafters to easily glue the wings into the tunnel card or attach it to the sides of last year’s trifold card designs. These wing sides include little super skinny - medium high pine trees (they kind of look like spikey piney trees). There is also a skinny little street lantern included as well. You can mix and match these various add-on sets to create a serene winter in the park scene. Choose all 4 characters or maybe make it a little romantic skating outing with the adorable little couple.

The details are insanely intricate and every little detail has been lovingly illustrated for your paper piecing enjoyment. Some paper piecing/ paper layering is required to create some extra interest and dimension on your die cuts. The main images would also look pretty as a focal point on a standard flat A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch) notecard sized card or can even assist to adorn your A7 (5 x 7 inch) sized cards. The add-on die set is a great way to create interest in your tunnel cards by creating lovely scenes and these images are also a great size to use in combination with last year’s trifold cards as well.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
