The “Santa’s Lap Metal Craft Die” is an add-on die for the Train Station Tunnel Series. It is a good sized, very delicate and pretty add-on die set, which includes a most adorable Santa Claus sitting in an ornate old fashion armchair with a little girl on his lap. The details on the die are incredible. The chair alone has so many layers to really make it appear to pop off the page. The image of Santa and the little girl fits perfectly inside the brick tunnel, but of course can be mixed or matched with any other tunnel style as well. Santas outfit and the little girls dress as well as the armchair have incredible detail and many intricate layers that will be fun to paper piece together. There are also a few small gift packages included in the die set. Some paper piecing/ paper layering is required to create some extra interest and dimension on your die cuts. The main images would also look pretty as a focal point on a standard flat A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch) notecard sized card or can even assist to adorn your A7 (5 x 7 inch) sized cards. The add-on set is a great way to create interest in your tunnel cards by creating lovely scenes and these images are also a great size to use in combination with last year’s trifold cards as well.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
